Two destinations such as Santa Marta and Bogotá are committed to working on the development of products to boost tourism.
The District Institute of Tourism of Bogotá and the District Institute of Tourism of Santa Marta, within the framework of the III meeting of the Colombian Caribbean tourism chain, join forces to develop activities related to the promotion of destinations, with an execution plan that will be extends until December 2023.
Within the thematic agenda, key issues such as territorial and commercial integration, joint and complementary promotion, technical assistance and the administration of statistical data in tourism, among others, were addressed.
Another destination that is joining forces for the tourist reactivation with Bogotá is: Medellín with a view to the development of activities related to the promotion of destinations, support in meetings and events, socialization of good practices, exchange of tourist information and the articulation in projects research.
The mayor's office of Medellín and the district tourism institute of Bogotá commit, through a memorandum of understanding, to join efforts for the reactivation of both cities. The alliance will have an execution term until December 31, 2023 and its purpose is to establish coordination and collaboration actions, to enrich the management of each of the entities for the strengthening of the sector.
