WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM?

Sustainable tourism is a form of tourism that follows the principles of sustainability. Sustainable tourism is an industry committed to making a low impact on the environment and local culture, while helping to generate income and employment for the local population.

“Tourism is currently one of the fastest growing business sectors in the world, so much so that in many countries it has become one of the main drivers of development. However, just as it can be widely beneficial, it could also cause great damage if not managed properly, since it can affect the richness of the natural and cultural heritage of any country, understanding heritage as "the set of movable, immovable property , and cultural manifestations that synthesize and manifest the history and identity of a nation ”, for this reason Aeroviajes Pacífico has implemented the Sectorial Technical Standard NTS - TS 003 - Sustainability Requirements to join the sustainable change without neglecting legal commitments and regulations of the country.

Code of ethics

In compliance with Law 679 of 2001 and Resolution 3840 of 2009, AEROVIAJES PACÍFICO DE BOGOTÁ SA, adheres to the code of conduct in order to protect minors from sexual exploitation. In order to comply with the above we have defined the following guidelines:

All our activities and operations reject any kind of sexual exploitation of children.

We reject child labor exploitation.

We reject discrimination based on race or gender.

Collaborators of the agency, we will not promote establishments where minors are directly or indirectly exposed to the sex trade.

We will promptly communicate to the local police and / or competent authorities, the cases of sex trade with minors that are perceived or detected and to the providers that develop practices related to this aspect.

We will market our products without misleading advertising and without involving improper practices with children or adolescents.

We will raise awareness and disclose to the public that the sexual exploitation of minors is a crime.

We condemn all forms of sexual exploitation with children and support all legal actions to prevent and punish these crimes.

It expects from its collaborators respect for the individuality of the people with whom it interacts, in terms of their personality, lifestyle, thought processes, personal and work experience, ethnic origin, political orientation, race, color, religion, gender, identity. gender, sexual orientation, marital status, physical condition, among other differences.

We ask clients, suppliers, partners and other agencies to reject participation in the sexual exploitation of minors and to report all cases of sexual exploitation of children of which they are aware.

Fomentar una cultura inclusiva que genere un entorno de trabajado basado en la colaboración y el respeto, que rechace de manera expresa cualquier discriminación directa e indirecta a todos los niveles (género, edad, nacionalidad, raza, religión o cualquier otra condición personal, física o social).

What can you do?

If you think someone is being forced to work against their will or abused or if you just see something you think is wrong in a bar, hotel or restaurant, please report it. Your actions can be essential to avoid sexual exploitation and forced labor. Children are especially vulnerable: Don't let child abuse take you.

New Code for the separation of waste

The "New color code" is born to which we must adapt for the separation of waste that begins to apply on January 1, 2021. With the unification of the color code at the national level, the people who provide collection, use and Waste treatment can fulfill its role more efficiently and ensure proper disposal of waste to protect the environment, extend the useful life of landfills, generate employment from material reuse, among others. It is expected that, with the implementation of the color code, the collaboration of citizens and the collective awareness of new consumption habits and taking advantage of solid waste, the amount of material recovered and reincorporated into production cycles will increase. Additionally, if a citizen moves from one city to another, the colors to classify the waste will be the same.

Toilet paper, napkins, prepared food, COVID-19 waste (mask, gloves, etc.)

Plastic, glass, metals, paper and cardboard.

En este sentido, es nuestro deber informar a todos nuestros usuarios y clientes el Artículo 17 de la ley 679/2001: La explotación y abuso sexual de menores de edad son sancionados penal y administrativamente en Colombia. Adicionalmente, contamos con un código de ética para evitar la explotación sexual y comercial de niños de acuerdo con la Resolución 3840 del 24 de diciembre de 2009 y según el Artículo 1 de la Ley 1336 del 21 de julio de 2009.
